Reyna’s research interests center on air quality modeling, satellite remote sensing, and environmental data science. Her research focuses on developing high spatial and temporal resolution predictions of ambient air pollution by integrating satellite remote sensing products, low-cost sensor observations, regulatory monitoring networks, meteorological variables, and land-use characteristics. Reyna applies geospatial analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques to improve the accuracy and spatial coverage of fine-scale air quality estimates. Her research emphasizes the use of multi-source environmental datasets to better characterize air pollution patterns and improve air pollution exposure assessment, while supporting environmental and public health decision-making.
